More information about the Endow Iowa program can be found at www.cfneia.org/endowiowa.

Nonprofit organizations that wish to establish their own fund with the Foundation are also eligible for the matching gift opportunity. Nonprofits establishing a new permanent endowment fund will receive a match of $5,000 for a $5,000 gift to start a fund ($10,000 minimum). Nonprofits establishing a new quasi-endowment fund will receive a match of $2,500 for a $7,500 gift to start a fund ($10,000 minimum, 2 year wait for distributions).

Michael Jacobson, chair of PACCF, shared, “This matching gift opportunity is a great way to help our local nonprofits grow their endowments, ensuring they have a sustainable source of financial support for years to come. A $500 donation, for example, would receive an additional $100 through the match, bringing the total gift to $600. Plus, donors can take advantage of the 25% tax credit on Endow Iowa eligible funds – making this a great opportunity to make a lasting impact.”

This match is made possible by a generous grant from the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC), which also helped establish the Foundation.

Gifts in the form of cash, check, or stock are accepted through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA), the administrative office for the PACCF. Checks should be made payable to the specific fund the donor wishes to support. Donations can also be made online at paloaltoccf.org.

For additional information about the match, making a gift, or establishing a fund, please contact Terry Gaumer, Charitable Advisor with CFNEIA, at her email or 319-243-1354.
