Grantmaking Snapshot: Museum on Main Street

The Grundy County Community Foundation awarded Conrad Chamber-Main Street a grant to participate in a traveling Smithsonian exhibit named "Hometown Teams." Conrad, Iowa was chosen as one of only six sites to host the exhibit, highlighting the love of sports in our hometowns. Over 800 people explored the exhibit, which was a project of five community groups and took 3,000 volunteer hours to make it a success.
